Ionic not receiving Facebook news feed notifications

Hello,

Can someone please help me. I just recently bought an Ionic and I have no problems receiving notification from all the apps i selected. (twitter, instagram, mail, youtube etc.) all but 1.."Facebook"

Im receiving messages from the FB messenger.. but not on the actual FB news feed..is that normal?

I have tried more than 5 times already all the trouble shouting procedures that fit bit has suggested and still to no avail..I even went on to uninstall my FB app from my phone and re-install it again.. but still same result

So is there something wrong my device? or Is this a software or system issue?

I'd like to begin appreciating your time and effort troubleshooting this uncommon situation prior posting, seems odd that you're receiving all the text notifications from the selected apps but not the specific news feed from Facebook. That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to attempt a restart on your device to refresh it's performance.
