Ionic not recognising active minutes and exercise

Can someone help 

 

My Ionic has stopped auto recognising active minutes and exercise, I can walk for 30 mins at low HR and it will record however if I do 25 minutes of high intensity exercise on an elliptical trainer it doesn’t record but if I then manually log it I then get the exercise info and the active minutes added. Previously it would auto detect the exercise and ask me to identify what kind it was I.E walking, running, etc

Make sure the elliptical is not ignored on your list of auto exercise recognition list (go to https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device and click on the ionic to see the list).

 

If it is not ignored, restart the Ionic by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until you see the fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds. Once restarted, try again.
