Ionic not recording sleep or giving text notifications

Hi, my ionic (Firmware version: 27.68.9.15) suddenly stopped recording my sleep patterns a few nights ago, and is also no longer giving me notifications of text messages. I have restarted my Ionic, and uninstalled / reinstalled the fitbit app with no resolution to the issue. I have a Google Pixel 2, OS is fully up to date.

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

I tried that, but it didnt work. To make things even worse, I tried to reset back to factory settings and it failed part way through. It is now sitting at a screen saying Not all data cleared, sync and try again. but when I attempt to sync, it fails. it is completely unusable now
