Ionic not recording steps or heart rate

My ionic has stopped recording steps and heart rate.  I’ve tried the various suggestions on forums ie

1.  Forcing the ironic to close down (holding left and bottom right buttons)

2.  Syncing with the app

3.  Changing the clock face and turning back

4.  Combinations of 1-3 above

It still won’t work. 

What else can I try

The only thing left to try is a factory reset. Settings app on the watch and scroll down to about. If that doesnt fix it you will need to contact Support (link in my signature)

I have the exact same issue - I've done all of what you did too - currently on the factory reset and it didn't work - my watch is only 3 months old too. Send an email to support - hopefully they can help both of us!

Overnight it completely wiped itself of charge.  When I eventually got it to gain enough charge and boot up, it’s started to work again!  Obviously an extreme version of “turn off and on again” worked.

Unfortunately the next day it failed again.  So contacted John Lewis.  They have given me a new one.  Hopefully this one will work ok - so far no problems

On Jan 4 the HR stopped registering and I have tried all suggestions above but can't find how to reset to Factory settings. Do I use the watch or iPhone app to reset to factory please?
