Ionic not responding after reaching out my goal

It will not sync or restart. I've tried every combination of buttons (all 3, left and bottom right, etc), held each combo of buttons for 15-20sec. Nothing. I'm at work right now so I don't have my charger with me. It had over 90% battery life. I've had this happen before and been able to get it up and running after an hour or so of messing around with it plugged into the computer but I want to know if there is some way to solve this problem without it.
