How are you doing my friend @adstep? Welcome! Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for reporting the issues with your Fitbit Ionic after trying to update it. Let's try a couple of steps that might help to bring to life your Ionic.

How old is your Ionic? I'd suggest to clean the contacts of your Ionic, in case this is related to issues with the battery not charging. These contacts can become obstructed by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.

Please try to restart your Ionic, if you haven't do so. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable?

You can also take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too.

Finally, perform a factory reset: On Ionic, open the Settings app ( ) > About > Factory Reset. Please note this process will wipe out all the information of your Ionic, you will have to install all apps again. Once  your Ionic is back on you can try these steps:

  1. Reboot your phone and check that you phone and Fitbit App is up to date
  2. Open Bluetooth Settings on your phone and delete your Ionic from there (forget device)
  3. Open Fitbit App > Account > Ionic > Remove device (tap on the trash can in the upper right corner)
  4. Reboot your Bluetooth and double check that it is not connecting from there
  5. Force quit the App. Open it again Account > Set up a device

Let's give it a try and please keep me posted. Cat Happy

Hello @YojanaFitbit

I've had the device for around 6 months.

The device is completely unresponsive. The screen is black and it won't connect to my phone any more. Your suggestions to restart the device or perform a factory reset are impossible. The charging contacts are clean. None of my chargers have any effect on the state of the device. The device is bricked. This occurred the night after I performed a firmware upgrade.
