Yeah. Easiest procedure is to call Tech Support directly and have them walk you thru all their troubleshooting as they need to document everything anyways for themselves. If they cannot get it to work properly they will often offer you a replacement device often right on the spot. Mine was replaced like that after a few minutes.
Others here will tell you to do other things like reset to new etc -> but you make brick your device before even talking to Tech Support. It is very common to get a replacement device as posted here by many. Try that.

Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic
