Ionic not showing texts, emails, calls

I just activated my Ionic yesterday and my notifications are not coming through on the watch.  My blue tooth is syncing with the watch and the notification controls under setting are all green (turned on). 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

There is one other switch. Press and hold the left button. This should bring up a menu of auto on and notifications. If you get the music control then swipe left or right. Make sure notification switch is turned on.
