Hi I too have got similar problem. Ionic is not switching on since morning today. Was working till 5 Am this morning. Tried every possible combination of resetting.  It’s not switching on.  Will be really grateful for the help and support to get it started. My Ionic is 2 years old.  Has the battery outlived it’s life. I am from New Delhi, India. Thanks in advance.

I had my FitBit Ionic sitting on my dresser for several months (not on a charger). Today I decided to used it and it won’t turn on when I put it on the charger (won’t even give me the red “dead battery” icon. I chatted with tech support and they had me clean the connectors with alcohol and a toothbrush then plug it in for 30 minutes. Nothing happened so I ran out and bought a new OEM charging cable. Still nothing after 15 minutes. We shall see but I think it has died for good.

If after coming in contact with water the watch goes for a toss then it’s
not a water resistant watch!
Atleast let other users know about it, before it’s too late!!

I had the same problem and read to charge it from your computer instead of a outlet...my understanding the charge from the outlet is stronger and confused the Fitbit. It worked

I have the similar problem. My fitbit ionic arrived to zero % baterry and when I ried to charfge, it was not charging and it was not possible to re-start.

I suffer this first some time ago during the time of guaranty. I when to the shop, they submitted to fitbit service and was returned back with the note that fitbit does not guranty that. Fortunately the shop (Decathlon) gave me guaranty and they supplied me with a new one. Several months later, I had again the same problem, and after many tries I was able to restart. However, now I have again the same problem, I have tried everythig possible (charging from several computers, from an external battery, from several chargers, and no response at all). An additional problem is that there is no way to find instruction about which botton must be pushed for restart.

WE NEED HELP, AND BETTER RESPONSE FROM FITBIT, PLEASE
