Ionic not syncing and stuck on Fitbit Logo

I am very very disappointed with this product. This was a Christmas present from my son and I have to look at the disappointment in his face, because he was so excited to get me this Fitbit. I have had nothing but problems with the ionic. The problems are syncing issues and the software gets stuck on Fitbit logo, which I had to learn how to hard reboot.

Like I said I am very disappointed in this product and will most likely return it.

Yes can appreciate your disappointment.  This device can be very flaky and have problems with syncing and software.  Many have reported this.  Most that can still return their device -> do so.

 

Particularly problematic is syncing music over WIFI.  That interface is the worst and slowest possible method.  Many users simply cannot put music onto their device.

 

Fortunately my replacement still works - but for how long is the question.

Really there is no need to suffer in Frustration - simply call Tech Support at 877-623-4997 and get your Ionic replaced right now while you can
Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic

@Joebit If you wanna post your setup (particularly your phone model and OS version) and descrive your exact problem somebody in the community forum might want to help you.

I have an Ionic and it works perfectly.

A warm welcome to the Community @Joebit. Thanks for the troubleshooting that you've mentioned. Sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your Ionic. 

 

If you're having syncing issues, I would like you to try this procedure. Also, provide me with a picture of what you're seeing on your Ionic.

 

- Are you exercising when your Ionic resets by itself?

- Did it happened when you updated it?

- Have you tried restarting your watch?
