Ionic not syncing on the background

Hi I have the Ionic with firmware version 27.33.1.30 and Huawei P20 Pro model CLT-L09 with EMUI version 9.0.0 and android version 9

 

Will not sync in the background, I have followed all the instructions here: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/#android with no luck. 

When I sync manually by going to the app it will sync that day but nothing earlier.

 

Can someone please find or recommend a solution to syncing issues.

A warm welcome to the Community @kmedri! Thanks for the troubleshooting that you've performed as well for the details mentioned. 

 

It's pretty weird that your Ionic isn't syncing unless you force sync it. Based in what you've mentioned, you have the latest firmware version installed on your Ionic and you also have a compatible device. 

 

I would like you to make sure that you have all day sync, always connected and keep-alive widget. This last one will improve the communication for tracker apps, notifications and background syncing. To enable this: go to your app > tap on account > tap on your Ionic icon and scroll through the page to enable these options.
