Ionic not syncing

My Ionic has not been syncing properly for over a week. I have uninstalled it from my phone, I have restarted the app, I have taken off Bluetooth but the syncing process just does not function correctly.  Also because the sync does not happen the Fitbit also loses time. I bought the Ionic in August 2019 so would not expect it to be faulty ? Any suggestions please?  My WiFi is secure and all other apps on my I-phone are working correctly.

I have the same issue! I actually uninstalled mine and now I am unable to even reinstall it. My bluetooth will no longer find it.

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation before posting over here, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for both of you. To fix this, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your  mobile devices that can prevent the syncing procedure to be completed.

 

Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Hi I have the same problem. Have had various fitbits for many years, currently an Iconic and have always managed to sort sync issues when they arise. 

Have had the same phone an iconic for a year now and always resolved sync issues

Have gone through all the help actions and still not syncing after 4 days and cannot pair to my phone now as it will not find the fitbit. Have reinstalled app. Restarted phone and iconic, disconnected all other Bluetooth devices, switch the blue tooth on and off and unpair and unsuccessfully tried to repair to my phone.

Rather annoyed now

Hi RicardoFitbit,

thank you for the reply - I can honestly say that I have followed the processes that you have recommended several times during the last week but this only seems to be a temporary fix.  I was away in an area where WiFi connection wasn’t great and put the problem down to this - but I returned home yesterday and even when my Icon is charging only 2 feet from my router the problem still exists. At the moment the time here is 7:17am and my Ionic is showing 6:29am and last synced yesterday at 12:44 in the afternoon. Can you offer any more ideas ?
