For the last couple of days my ionic hasn’t been working properly. It’s not counting steps accurately and a few days ago I plugged in to charge when 0% and the Ionic didn’t charge overnight. Yes, checked plugs and cable. Yes, cleaned cable and ionic as suggested in forum. The ionic did start charging and I though all was good. Then I noticed later in the day it wasn’t displaying steps correctly. Having not worn it for most of the day, didn’t notice low step count. When reset to 0 this morning, it’s now 5:00 and shows I have taken 674 steps. Yes, updated app, restarted Ionic, followed suggestions in forum but nothing working. I also received a calibration notice and tried but can’t tell if worked because still at 674 steps. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Brookside615.
Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to resolve the issue. I would like to confirm if you were wearing your watch when you noticed the extra steps? I will be glad to investigate further. You can remove the extra steps from your daily total by following the instructions in this help article: How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?
For more information about accuracy of Fitbit devices, see How accurate are Fitbit devices?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Having a very similar problem. My Ionic has stopped tracking nearly all steps, stairs and exercise minutes. Says I have done 153 steps today but my pedometer is reading 9234. Heart rate hasn't shifted from 68 and no sleep stats at all.
