Completed morning swim, as I’ve done three times a week for the past year. However today for my 80 25m lengths it recorded 1975meters but only 55 calories. Have there been any updates that have affected this?
(I also rebooted the watch just prior to swimming like normal - as this seems to be the only way for lengths being recorded correctly)

Welcome to the Community @LarryRed. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
There hasn't been any update regarding how calories burned are tracked for exercises. I would like you to restart your watch once again and remove swimming activity from SmartTrack or from the exercise app in your Ionic and check that your personal information is properly entered in your Dashboard.
After this, please sync your Ionic and add swimming activity to the exercise app and SmartTrack. Try tracking another swimming activity and check the results.
If you're still receiving this information, reply to the following questions:
- Is it happening only to swimming or are any other activities not being tracked correctly?
- Are your overall calories burned tracked correctly?
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Your fix worked for me, once. After one swim, not working again. It is counting laps, but it shows calories for the first minute or two, then flat lines. I really don't want to have to do that fix every time I want to swim.
I just swam for 58 minutes. I am seeing the number of lengths, which appears to be accurate. When I go to energy, I am seeing 77 cals 1.3 cals/min.
I purchased this watch specifically because it could track my swimming.

@jazgold Hey there. Thanks for the troubleshooting tried prior to posting.
Before creating a case with our Support team, please let me know if your Ionic isn't tracking calories burned only for swimming activities or if it's happening with other activities. Is it not showing calories burned for the whole activity? Can you confirm that you restarted it and then track swim again?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
