Ionic not turning on after swimming

Hello, I was this summer in a swimming pool to help my son of 2, and after 15 min my iconic stopped working... This is not normal and with this premium watch a deception, what can be the solution?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

My iconic is completely inactif and no light is working. 

I followed your instructions (for example with the 2 buttons) but unfortunately I did not manage to put it on again. Is there something else I could do?

I’ve simply been told by support that it’s down to “one of those things” and they can’t put a reason as to why this happens!

The long and short of it is as follows...

 

1. If you have a faulty device, like most of us do, you need to contact support and hope you’re under warranty. If you’re under warranty, you stand some chance of getting a device replacement. The support simply tell you to factory rest the device and hope for the best. If that fails, you might get sent a replacement. 

2. If you’re out of warranty, you’re going to get a discount at best. A discount on another device that will fail in time, and then repeat the circle of Fitbit life...

 

Good luck but I think you’re in the same boat as me and screwed.

what can be the solution? 

 

Hopefully your device is under warranty.

If it is - then DO NOT swim or shower with the replacement.

 

If no warranty - then many feel your pain
