I am 100% sure it was an update that they pushed. I take very good care of my watch and I am sure it is not bacause of misuse! And the fact that we all had it happen the same time tells that it is a software issue that was pushed on all of us. It is terrible fitbit can get away with it!

Exactly... We need to let someone know... make a corperate claim or something this is not fair .. we should get 50%off a new one

And customer service claims that I am the only one with this issue and refuse to escalate my call

I refuse to give such a deceiving company anymore money! They robbed me enough and there are other respectful brands with repair centers and better service that them!

I just got the “we see you synced yesterday,” and I replied back after I synced it, my watch quit working. Now what?!?! Ugh! Fitbit used to have great customer service.

Same here. It worked well until July 5th when it went black. Tried (1) all the reset suggestions, (2) different charger, (3) usb to computer - all with no luck. 3rd Fitbit, all lasted just a little over a year.

Also, about a week ago I had an issue where I received a notification that my clock face was causing my fitbit not to function and to switch to a fitbit clock face (vs a 3rd party clock face). I originally had a fitbit clock face so I just changed it through my phone to another one made by fitbit and that fixed the error message I had. Didn't think twice about it until yesterday when it wouldn't turn on or charge. Fitbit app on mine says it had a full charge as of Thursday morning so battery shouldn't have been the issue. Just posting more info in case similar to what others are having issues with.

Seeing a lot of similar issues within the same timeline with same info - synced, battery full, recent update, then brick.

I had same issue. My app was showing fully charged after not wearing for a week but wouldn’t turn on.
I finally pushed all 3 buttons on my ionic at the same time and held for what seemed like eternity until the fitbit logo appeared. I’ve had other Fitbit products and have to agree the quality is substandard in general.
