Ionic not working after swimming

Went swimming (local pool) today and after coming out noticed my watch had gone blank. Dried it out and tried charging but nothing showing. Checked and cleaned the contacts, to no avail. I've tried the reset, but nothing shows on my screen. I get a vibration, but nothing visually. Please help

Dear,

 

I got without any discussion my defect Ionic (after just  i year service) replaced, I didnot expected that and had bought already a versa 3 , I now use them  both, for swimming I relay mostly on the versa but I also swim eith the Ionic.

My iconic got wet for few minutes and after which it's not working. Just flashing fit bit icon when pressed any key. Tried to do factory reset but dint go through. Rear flashlight not working which initially was. Pl help

Hi has iconic watch problem resolved. If yes then how. Pl guide. Even my watch got wet and after which not functioning

They sent me a replacement as it was a technical problem with the watch.

Sorry, nothing can be done. I feel for you, it’s VERY upsetting given how expensive this it.

But if it’s been over a year, those ****** at Fitbit won’t do anything for you. They don’t stand by their product.

There are some suggestions online about resetting it a certain way (as opposed to a factory reset). They didn’t work for me but since you stilll some activity on your device, it’s worth a shot.

@curlygirlie  Thanks for your prompt response and valuable suggestion. I'm still crossing my fingers in hope that fitbit wouldn't hurt their customer trust and provide best solution.

@YojanaFitbit Hello Madam. My watch has got wet and since then no display except fitbit icon and 0% battery. Rear sensor not working which did for 3 hrs after getting wet. I have bought it with my hard earned money and don't want to loose it. Pl help

This same exact thing just happened to my FitBit after swimming.  Tried the factory reset you mentioned below and nothing.  It's charged but won't turn on.  It's less than one year old, what would you recommend I do to address this?

Exact same thing happened to mine. I bought this wearable specifically to get in the water and track my exercise. Kinda bummed that I got burned with this.

@Parky291 hey my fitbit is doing the Sam's exact thing and did everything you tired. How did you get a,replacement?? Cause it's been 3 days of mine not working

I got in touch with Fitbit, explained what I had done and as I was still in
the warranty period, they sent a replacement.
