Well, after almost four years and four million miles, two Charge HRs ,one Charge 2, and a short lived Ionic, I am moving on. I was quite happy until the Ionic I bought (used) a few months back had the same issues everyone else does. Worked fantastic for a month, then battery life went down to about 24-36 hours. Then something happened to increase battery life, but killed messaging and the ability to use the credit card feature. And now it is stuck on the main screen, but apparently still tracking steps and sleep but not HR. Buying used as I did I don't expect any support, but reading through what everyone else has gone through sours me on another Ionic. I just don't think they care anymore.
And then I learned that as a Blue Cross Blue Shield member I am eligible for 35% off any Garmin device, including the new Fenix series. Time for an upgrade.

@Horseshoe13 Thanks for stopping by.
I appreciate the time you took to share your experience with Fitbit over the last four years. Sorry to see you go, hope you can give Fitbit another opportunity in the future.
Before leaving, I would appreciate that you could try the following troubleshooting and if it doesn't work for you, our Support team will always have options for you.
Regarding the battery and display issues, you're experiencing please try to restart your Ionic and then fully charge it. You can follow these tips to extend your Fitbit device's battery life.
If after this, you get working please confirm that you've followed this procedure to set up Fitbit Pay in your Ionic.
Last but not least, try these steps to get your heart rate showing on your watch.
Let me know the outcome.
