Ionic not working

I had an Ionic, I bought a couple years ago. Was fairly disappointed with the accuracy, so I kind of barely used it. Finally got a need for it, music with my wireless headphones for running. I got a bunch of mp3's ready and went to update my watch, now its bricked at the Data Sync failed X screen. Bad performance initially but gave it a pass since it was new. Now its been years later and the firmware is bricking watches. Awesome. Too old to bring back, will be moving to another brand. Fitbits inability to send out working firmware to their equipment is bad business when that firmware is the heart of the watch. I dislike microsoft updates but never had a bricked computer because of it. $250.00 down the toilet, only posting this so anyone looking at it understands what they are getting into.
