Ionic notifications clearing automatically

I am receiving all notifications on my Ionic, yet they are clearing automatically after I have accessed my phone. I’m used to them staying on my Fitbit until cleared, or 24 hours later. This doesn’t seem to be by design. Anyone else experiencing this?

Hi @Shobie I've had this happen a few times with text messages. I haven't been able to reproduce it constantly, but have been able to stop it by restarting my tracker and the app on my phone. In fact, I haven't had this issue for several weeks, I'd give restarting a try and also check to make sure you have updates to the app pending on your phone.

Thanks @MarciM, I’ve tried all that and it’s still sporadically deleting some, keeping others. It seems that if I get another notification after a text (that I haven’t checked on my phone yet) it saves the text. Similarly, if I get 2 emails in a row ITV will delete the last one once they are both read, keeping the first one. 

May least i am getting the notifications 🙂

My Ionic would not show text message notifications.  It would show emails but not texts.  I did a factory reset and the text notifications started working again, but now all the messages clear automatically.  I did not have either problem before the last big update.  The clearing automatically have not affected me yet as long as I do receive them but it is kind of weird how it just started doing it.  Based on my Ionic and others I have read about they really messed up the notification part.  Not good for the price you pay for the watch.
