I have a iphone 7 plus. The first day my notifications would make my watch vibrate and pop up on my watch. Now it doesn't seem to do that. I tried restarting my phone and refreshing the app. I also powered off the watch and turned it back on. I ensured the notifications were on, on the app. I also had it on for exercising and sleep on my watch. Any suggestions? Did I turn something off in inadvertently?

Of course I did it 🙂 Synchronize the clock, heart rate, movement, and sport with him today. But the test message is over! But messages and phone calls are not signaled.
Now I've put a full reset on it. I will reinstall. They could release the new Firmware. Maybe I'd wait.

Meanwhile, the whole reset ran 🙂 joke. one hour !!!! (really this is not a Galaxy S8 firmware update, and when I compile a complete PC and install all the software) i installed android app again. Now all the notifications I've set up are working ... I'll see how long it will last ..
Anyone who does this does not forget to put the watch on the charger

Of course, the Fitbit app (Android is now updated). He now wrote that the phone should be restarted. What is this ? Windows? funny .

Conclusion. Since the complete factory reset was available. Allow the clock to be notified 🙂 Let's say every two weeks it's a bit of work-intensive evening entertainment..

I give up, back to the old pebble. This is one of the worst releases i've seen in years.
I mean i got this mainly for time and notifications. it does NOT work! Whatever everyone is trying, it is not working as advertised. Go shame yourself Fitbit.

I think fitbit needs to be on top of their community forums. We, the early adopters, are their best ambasadors but we can also be theirs worse publicity.
So FITBIT, where are you on this?

Yeah, the Ionic has been one of the worst product launches I've ever seen. I'm already looking into other fitness trackers with how badly they've handled all the Ionic issues. The other trackers I've had from the beginning to the Blaze had their issues, but customer service was always able to find a solution. But this is a shocking low for fitbit. I've really lost faith in them overall. I'm just waiting for another rep. to point us to the same setup guide as they've done for months now. I haven't even seen them do so much as acknowledge a single problem with the Ionic, so far.

Oh yeah. That's the worst of it - customer service just refers you to the standard responses in the User Guide, or the restart-reinstall-redo indefinitely routine!
Have given up, the Ionic is just a poorly put together piece of crap!

And you just have to expect that in 6-8 months, they'll finally roll out the fix...as the all-new Ionic 2 for $450. I really hate that I already spent $300 on nearly-unusable garbage.

I do not know, but since I've reset full factory.
Ionic. And I installed the Fitbit app again and set the clock again.
All of the notifications are received without any problems. What the Full Reset Has Solved, maybe the programmers might say. It is likely that you can run OS memory management, which I hope to solve in the next firmware. . If this is common, then it will be a problem.

I do not give up so easily. Ionic is making me.
The running time is also very good.
Every "smart" tool sometimes has a Factory full reset, think of "win-**ahem**". But sometimes Pebble Time has gone crazy, not after a week 🙂

Hi -
I just got my Ionic a couple of days ago.. My only problem is with notifications. I get no vibration and they don't flash on the screen--but if I swipe up, there they are. Any solutions yet?

They don't "flash on the screen." The only way you know that there is a notification if by the vibration, then you swipe up. Send a test notification from the phone app, so you know for sure when there is one, and if you can't feel the vibration, check watch settings. you might need to set it to "Strong" from "Normal." That, or your watch isn't working correctly.

I didn’t see instructions on how to set to “Strong”. Could you assist?

Swipe right till you see settings. Tap it. Vibration is the 2nd option. Tap it to change it.
EDIT: My previous post was deleted? What's up with that? Long story short, more features don't work right or at all than do on my Ionic.
I will never buy another Fitbit product. If you want a cheap Ionic I'm posting on Ebay tomorrow along with my Charge 2.

Hi there!
I received the Ionic watch a cupple of days ago. Right from the start the notifications (what’sApp messages, calls, calendar remainders or other apps) did not work at all or worked only a few times (WhatsApp). I’ve already read all the instructions and about troubleshooting but nothing helped so far.
When opening the Fitbit App and going to notifications it’s often not activated anymore and I have to switch off and on again the Fitbit notification service to make it work. Unfortunately it stops working again after a couple times.
So what can I do to make it work constantly?
So far I am pretty disappointed in this product, which is quite costly.
