I have a iphone 7 plus. The first day my notifications would make my watch vibrate and pop up on my watch. Now it doesn't seem to do that. I tried restarting my phone and refreshing the app. I also powered off the watch and turned it back on. I ensured the notifications were on, on the app. I also had it on for exercising and sleep on my watch. Any suggestions? Did I turn something off in inadvertently?

I tried rnning through all problem solving routines that were mentioned on the fitbit website and still can't get notifications. Everything else seems to be working fine. A comment from the fitbit people would be appreciated at this point before I decide to return it.
Message them they are really helpful

I still had my charge 2 on the fitbit app as well as installing the ionic...the only way was to unpair my charge 2 from my phone then reboot iconic and phone and all worked fine

Eventually, I unpaired the device within the phone's bluetooth settings. I also deleted it completely from the FITBIT application on the phone. Then I restarted all devices and reinstalled the FITBIT into the app. Notifications are now working.

Notifications worked for two days, now it's back to not receiving any notifications. My phone amd fitbit are set up correctly and I've been through all of the different solutions from the help section and still nothing. If anybody has any other suggestions, I'm all ears. (And dont tell me to swipe right and turn on notifications, I'm not an idiot)
LG G5 running latest Android OS and latest fitbit firmware
Thanks

After 3 months, i'm want to know a few things. Does Fitbit know of these notifications failures ( reading this forum i think they do ) , and are they planning to solve it. if so, in what time?
Or does fitbit think it is phone OS, BT or whatever related, and is not planning to solve this. Or planning to solve this in model ionic 2.
best, dikke

Everyday I have to go into the Fitbit app and enable notifications again.. even tho when I do that everything that needs to be checked is already checked. Got this watch for Xmas and from day one text messages have not been coming through. Am contemplating a return. Pretty frustrating.

Since firmware 27.31.1.16, notifications have been much more reliable on my Ionic...unless I have another device on my account, though. I wanted to use my blaze to track my fitness while the ionic charged, but as soon as I put the blaze back on to my account, no combination of settings would allow notifications to go to my Ionic (or the blaze, for that matter), and I'd run into those old bluetooth problems again where I had to turn off bluetooth on my phone, force close the app, open the app and tap the notification in the fitbit app to reenable bluetooth. And even then, it was a toss-up to see if either device could sync at all.

Anyone noticed that when you turn your phone off then on again all your notification settings are reset and you have to manually change them back to what you want again.

That is very strange (you have Android i suppose?)
My phone is updated weekly, and it means that i have to make a backup outside the Android environment, which is in fact a reboot, before i update it.
So every week i reboot the phone at least once and i never have this problem.
Or are you using iPhones?

I have a Samsung S7 Android 7.0, every time I turn it off and on the notifications reset and I have to turn them all back on again.
