Ionic now dead

My Ionic has been erratic for a few weeks making random vibration like a new notification. I check the screen but it doesn't show any info. Today it has started to vibrate, lite the screen, then after a few seconds show the Fitbit logo. This then fades from outside into the centre! It can't always sync, then the time seems to stop/stall. I tried a reset but this did nothing so I tried a factory reset and it's dead now. The screen seems to light but nothing is displayed. I have tried to re-add the Ionic to the app but as I can't see the display I can't enter the PIN. I hope this is just a temporary glitch but have had it on charge all day and still no improvement.

If this is related to the recent update which bricked devices then I'll have to move away from Fitbit as I can't justify paying more money for something which will fail after an update, but makes me pay more money for something which isn't my fault!

Hoping for a positive response but expecting some lousy discount to purchase new. 😞

@SunsetRunner A warm welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that your Ionic hasn't been working properly since the last few weeks. 

 

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. I totally understand how you feel about this.
