I really don't think why this should make a difference whatsoever. If you think it's good to buy at $270.00 then you should definitely buy it at $300.00, too. If you think it is useless at $300.00, then you should definitely not buy it at $270.00.

Don't disagree, but some are price sensitive and $30.00 could make a difference to some on the fence. I was planning to buy myself one for Christmas and this is just added incentive to do so.

It's almost insulting, really. To have been an early adopter and report the issues with it... Basically beta testing it... and paying full price.
