Ionic powers up but battery wont charge

Ionic will power up battery indicator shows charging but battery still indicates 0% charge unplugged it and goes straight off plugged back in boot up sequence runs again but still indicates no charge going into device also had a screen pop up showing battery level 0% and no WiFi connection 

looks like it’s totally knackered

Seems odd that your device is not charging anymore, certainly the 0% that is shown on the display is not a common behavior not the way it was designed. That said, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and take in consideration all the tips and steps that are specified there.
