Ionic "Set an Alarm" screen always visible

Starting again yesterday, the screen that appears on my Ionic is the Set an Alarm screen. None of the buttons work now, resetting the watch only briefly returns to the home screen then the Alarm screen opens back up. I've tried letting the battery drain and then recharge and that worked for a few minutes but then reverted back to the Alarm screen.

I appreciate the troubleshooting tried prior to posting. It's pretty weird that your Ionic is showing the Set an Alarm screen. I would like you to confirm that you followed these steps to restart it.
