I went to look at my dashboard and found that my husband had accidentally "helpfully" removed my ionic from my account two weeks ago. While trying to re-attach the device to my account I needed to reboot (as well as restart the computer) to try to get it all to sync. I think I must have done a factory reset as it had all sort of greetings in different languages. I managed to reattach it to my account. However it needs to do a system update and it can't be found to sync. The screen on the fitbit was first stuck at a screen with the fitbit logo and battery symbol - and I can't get a watch face up at all. I did another reset and this time I have a red cross with "data not cleared - sync and try again". But I can't get it to sync at all. So - I can't get it to sync, I can't clear the error message & I can't even use it as a watch. I am also getting error messages from the app saying "bonding failed".
Please help!

And had another go at the factory reset - and got the "data not cleared" error message again
