With my Blaze I had the Fitbit app installed on my Android phone, received notifications from phone, etc...and then had the Bluetooth Classic synced to my Ipad for music control.
I now have an Ionic. I have the Fitbit app on my android and everything is working splendidly. I used various workarounds to get the "Ionic (classic)" to show up in my bluetooth devices on the android, and I can now control music on my phone. But no matter what I've tried I can't get the "Ionic (classic)" or, in fact, just "Ionic" to show up on my Ipad bluetooth devices. Because the Ionic is communicating with the Android phone Fitbit App, will it not "send" a sync to any other device?

On ios devices there is no need to pair the ionic using the bluetooth classic option, it can control music just by being paired to the bluetooth.
To do this, if you have the fitbit app on the ipad, open it, tap on the ionic's icon on the top, and tap on the notification option. Usually, the app would ask you to pair the ionic and once paired, you'd be able to control the music on the ipad (I'd recommend you to turn off the bluetooth on the android, to avoid any interference).

I think you might have misunderstood. I want to be synced to and receive notifications from my phone, but control the music on my Ipad. It seems that you're saying that it's possible to be synced to both devices simultaneously but there might be "interference"?
