Ionic raise wrist not working anymore

Got my new Ionic on Sunday, have had no problems with it so far until today. Everything was working fine, went for a walk, and in the last couple hours the ionic screen won't activate when I raise my wrist. I haven't changed any settings today and I've restarted the device. Haven't done a factory reset yet, that's a last resort. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It has nothing to do with swiping from left to right or right to left. Hold the left button in and hold you will have two choices the wake settings and the notification settings, move the wake setting from manual to auto

The auto is wearing my battery out. And your tip brought up the awake screen so could change it back to manual.  Thanks

Wilsha, me thinks your post is in appropriate!  I have been trying to figure out how to get it back to auto and Willy’s advice was the only one that worked!  So there!

Don’t be so judgmental ……

Thanks Willy!!!

My problem is slightly different, in auto mode, it will not constantly show the clock when I do my usual motion of twisting my wrist [less of an arm raise]- I often am in meetings, and do not want to have a big gesture to have to glance at my watch, is there a way to adjust the sensitivity ? Or, am I stuck with using this in manual mode ? This is not what I wanted in a watch ! I have had 2 older fitbits, most recently a surge and they worked fine ...

I can’t get my screen to wake when I raise/rotate my wrist. And when I swipe right to try find where I can set the screen wake to auto, nothing shows up. And when I swipe left it just brings me to the apps.

Many suggestions on what to do?

I turned mine off and when I turned it back on it gave me the option to turn the function back on.

Swipeing right does nothing on mine.

Hello @alokeson and @talogon, it's good to see you around in the forums.

Thank you for sharing what you've been experiencing with the quick view option on the Ionic. You should be able to activate this feature by pressing and holding the left/back button of the Ionic. The Wake screen option should be right at the top.

If you're still having trouble with this, make sure you've tried a restart process for your watch and that you've also tried to turn it off and back on, as it was mentioned in this thread previously.

I hope this helps, keep me posted.

When I swipe right, on my Ionic I have lots of options, but screen wake is not one of them. Help. It stopped working yesterday. Only one month old!

Yeeeeeeeees!  Thanks

Hold the left button for a few seconds. Wake option is there. Set it to auto.
