Like some others I have found that my ionic randomly quits tracking my workouts. I checked the forums and saw several posts where people have disabled the "Receive Calls and Notifications During Exercise" feature. So I disabled this feature and will monitor and see if the problem is resolved. I did note that each time my ionic quit tracking, my phone was in close proximity. Never quit during a swim or run, (I don't take my phone with me when I run.) but has quit when I ride my bike, (phone with me) or during other workouts in which I have my phone close by. Will update after I see how this turns out.

A warm welcome to the Community @RonG32! Thanks for sharing what you found on the Community. I would like you to make sure you've restarted your Ionic and that you're following this procedure to properly track your exercises.
Also, reply to the following questions:
- Is it pausing the exercise or just disappears from the display?
- Do you see any activity on your Dashboard after this has been completed?
- When does it started happening?
- Do you have the latest firmware version? which is 27.32.4.19
Keep me posted!

Hello,
This is a request for help. My Fitbit Ionic has been quitting during exercise at random times for the last few months. I saw this article and the following questions in the forum.
- Is it pausing the exercise or just disappears from the display?
It is randomly quitting when my phone is not near...it quit today 0.3 miles from home and my phone
It also randomly quit 3 times during my last marathon I ran 1 month ago.
- Do you see any activity on your Dashboard after this has been completed?
I do have new activity on my dashboard
- When does it started happening?
It is completely random...could happen several times 1 day and then not again for 3 weeks
- Do you have the latest firmware version? which is 27.32.4.19
I currently have 27.33.1.30 which should be up to date
this began happening before apple came out with iOS 13 and is happening the same after I upgraded to iOS 13. Please help!!
Gary
