Hi folks - checking my heart rate stats on my Ionic dashboard and noticed it was reading a high heart rate even though I wasn't wearing in while I was sleeping - what's that all about?
How is this going to give an accurate heart assesment if it's making things up on its own?
Weird?

@Josh4u Welcome to the Fitbit family! Thanks for taking the time to share the situation you are experiencing with Ionic recording heart rate readings while not being worn. Thanks for sharing all of those details regarding this situation. It is weird indeed.
Is this happening every time you are not wearing it? Can you see the heart rate reading on the Ionic as well?
I'd recommend performing a restart on your watch. This will refresh its inner components and should help you out with this.
Also, is it also tracking steps? If it is also tracking steps when not being worn please check the surface you are putting the watch into. If it has a fan or something that is vibrating, that may happen.
Keep me posted!

Many thanks I'll keep you posted if it carries on - steps were being recorded just fine and thankfully not when I was sleeping (unless I had been sleep walking) lol
Is there a way to heart rate info from the history as that would surely mess up my cardio level etc with hours of very high heart rate being recorded even though I was not wearing it?
Thanks again
