Ionic records heart rate even though I am not wearing it.

Hi all. 

 

Hope you can help. 

I have recently noticed that when I am not wearing my Fitbit Ionic, it is still registering a heart rate. For instance, I woke up this morning and it was registering a heart rate of 91. Only think was, I was upstairs and the ionic was downstairs. 

 

Appreciate any help to fix this issue.

I have the same problem. Even turning heart rate reading off in the ionic doesn’t help. Restart doesn’t help. Connecting the charger turns it off but only when the charger is connected. What to do?

Try connecting it to the charger for a while. It actually seems to have solved the problem for me.
