Almost every day that I ride my stationary bike, my dashboard says I was on the elliptical, how do I stop this, besides manually deleting it on the dashboard? I do enter my bike info. Thanks in advance!

Since the ionic is not suppose to detect a stationary bike @Maggiemae930. I would use the manual mode called Spinning the common term now used for a stationary bike.
How do I track exercise and activity with my Fitbit device?
As for why elliptical is being detected, this would most like be caused by the way the hands ate moving. Not knowing what type of bike you have I can nor say but @SunsetRunner had a good suggestion of turning this activity off.
I would also say turn off any other activity you do not do, doing so will increase battery life and make your tracker more responsive

In the app go to your account settings, then select Exercise. You will see the list of automatically detected exercises. Elliptical should be among them. Select it and turn off autorecognition.
