Ionic resets itself during run after the latest update

I did the update July 2021 and now my Fitbit stops while I’m running and completely resets itself.  It does this only when I am running and it does it multiple times. Very unhappy with this update and would like to remove it.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. While it's not possible to remove the update, I recommend restarting your watch by following the steps in How do I restart my Fitbit device? You can also try changing a clock face to Fitbit designed one: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
