Ionic's band releasing of involuntary contact

Is anyone having a problem with the Ionic band releasing because of involuntary contact with the big bone in their wrist?  Mine pops off a lot and eventually the mechanism fails altogether.  It is very frustrating.  I am on my fourth band.   As far as I can tell, and this happens with the bands that come with the fitbit or after market bands.  The movement of my arm triggers the band release mechanism on the far side of my left wrist releasing the band, causing the watch to fall off.  One of these days its going to come off and fall down a flushing toilet or somewhere from which I cannot retrieve it.  Furthermore, four bands in two years indicates a design flaw of some kind.  The actual spring and mechanism fails and comes completely apart eventually.  Up to that point I have to put up with unplanned releases of the band from the watch body.  Right now I am looking for another brand of smart watch, after more than three years in the fitbit community I am quite over this problem.

@PastorPaul1957 Welcome back to the Community. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with your Ionic's band.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your watch. I would like you to make sure you're doing this procedure to properly attach your band to your Ionic. If this keeps happening, could you attach a screenshot to your next reply?

Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
