Hi there, @Angieapp. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums.

Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Your device is out of the warranty period, and therefore is not eligible for repair or replacement, but we want to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.

For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty.

I've moved your post to the Ionic board for organization purposes.

I've seen this issue on another post here.  He said that the centre pin on the watch had corroded and fell out.  I understand the poster just wedged a bit of foil in so he could charge it up.  Not a permanent fix though as he eventually ended up binning it.

Me however, would find a busted one online, there should be plenty around at the moment, that's cheap and complete then strip it for parts to fix mine.  Luckily  I have the gear to strip and rebuild good or I'm sure a half decent phone repairer can switch over the parts you need swapping.
