Ionic's distance not matching with Strava

Anyone else having an issue where their mileage between Ionic and Strava is not matching up when it syncs? For example, when I ran tonight my Ionic said I ran 2.02 miles. When I synced it with Strava it’s showing up as 1.98 miles on Strava and this is not the first time it’s happened. It’s kind of a pain because I have certain distance challenges I am participating in on Strava, but the discrepancy is causing me to come up shy. It’s not always the same amount either so I can’t calculate what the difference is going to be in order to be able to just run over a bit. It’s frustrating.

@skiergirlie Welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know what you're experiencing with Ionic and Strava. 

Sorry to hear that you're seeing this discrepancy. In this case, I would like you to revoke access to Strava and then link them again. 

Keep in mind that Fitbit will sync activity recorded with GPS on device to Strava while Strava will sync runs with GPS.

@skiergirlie it is because the distance computed by Strava uses GPS data but Ionic does it differently (stride x steps even with GPS).
