It's great to see you around @SunsetRunner. Sorry to hear that after the update your Ionic's screen wasn't turning on and the battery wasn't charging.
I appreciate the time that you took to update your situation and that the Twitter team was able to create a case for you. I'm sure they will be able to provide you with a final solution.
If you have any additional question, don't hesitate to post it here.

Same thing happened to me all they did was offer 25 percent discount because I had it over a year. Don't expect to much from these people. Company is a complete ripoff. They know the updated caused the issue but they want us to buy another one.

I have the same issue. My fitbit is not charging nor is it going on after 3 days of charge not lasting a whole day. Now it no longer works and I have not been able to get a solution to this issue. Waiting to see their response on this.
Not sure if I would get another fitbit going forward.

its done , my watch is dead and wont revive and the Costumer Service said that they cant help cause the warranty is over by 2 months , I am speechless , the watch was full of issues but at least was working , the 3.0 update killed it and now its my responsibility not theirs !!!!!!

they wont help unless you are under warranty , mine died after few days ago , black screen and wont charge with either Wall Charger or USB on laptop , not response , and they said they cant do anything as the warranty is over on 2018/10/28 , so , in short , when Fitbit release and update , take your chances with it as if your warranty is over and the update killed yours same as mine , then dont expect a fix

seriously ! I was less than 2 months after my warranty plus I am not the only one with this issue !!!!
All I wanted is to make the watch works !
I have pre-ordered the watch even before it release , and I have paid more than the 300$ for it .
I am in China .
I am speechless to how you guys react to your own product !
