Ionic’s water resistance...

I’m thinking of upgrading from a Charge 2 to Ionic, my question is will it be safe to use the Ionic while snorkelling in the summer? Obviously that would be in salt water too. Thanks in advance.

Hi @ClaretPaul,

Salt water is fine, it's just recommended you rinse the tracker after use.  The Fitbit Ionic is water-resistant up to 50 meters. I didn't see anything in the help files that prohibited snorkeling use.

Work out...eat... sleep...repeat!
