Ionic screen completely black

I was taking a nap and woke up to my Fitbit burning my wrist. It then vibrates and the screen went black. I took it off and set it on the dresser to cool down and then tried to turn it on. It will not turn on at all. So I plugged it in to charge and waited an hour and checked it. Then I tried resetting it by pushing the three buttons still nothing. I’m very upset as I have only had the ionic for a month now. Looked through the forum and tried to figure out what to do but still have not found a solution. I still have it charging but idk if it’s gonna work 😟

I loaded the new firmware from FitBit and I now have a FitBit that will not start.  I charge same as you but nothing.  I thought maybe my charger was bad so I went to BestBuy to get another.  After hooking it up u check, no luck.  What did Google do to my reliability in my FitBit.  I talked with a woman at BestBut and she had the same problem.    I hope we can find some resolve for this problem .

I hope so too. This is crazy, I had the Fitbit charge 2 for like 3 years and had no issues ever. Then I upgraded last month and it’s not working. Super frustrating and upsetting
