Ionic screen faded/washed out after swim

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Ionic for just over a year and a half and never had an issue with it. Recently, after finishing a swim, I noticed the screen was faded and appeared washed out. After a day or so it returned to normal.  I went swimming again sometime later, and it happened again, and now it remains faded. Is there a way to repair this kind of thing (I assume the watch is allowing water inside)? Thanks

Hi @BarbaraJML

Unfortunately if water is getting inside the Ionic, it will only be a matter of time until it dies completely.

Have you tried restarting your Ionic by following the steps here? If the screen still remains faded after that, I would definitely say it's a hardware issue. In that case you only option will be to contact customer support (here).
