Ionic screen is black and won't charge

I have only had my Fitbit a few months. I haven’t had any issues. It died, I charged it, and it’s still dead. I cleaned it and did the 3 button reset. Nothing. Any advice?

They will sent you a BS email about 35% off your next purchase and wipe their hands of the issue.

Same for me.  If there is an issue they encourage you to spend another $200 - $300 dollars on a new device without supporting the one you have issues with

Update:

I have cleaned it, and let it sit in the charging cradle that it came with overnight.  I have followed all the instructions.  It still won't charge.

I have only had it 4 months. Ridiculous! I’m sorry it happen to you too. So frustrating 😞

It’s crazy. It’s not like a $20 cheap Amazon random watch. Which I had for 2 years with no issue and still works, before investing in a ionic. Terrible.

Us too. My husband has has his 2 years. This is his 2nd one in that two year span. Both times - he goes to change it and it stays  blank on the screen - no lights, no sign of a charge. The last time - it was still under a warranty and they sent a new one. We haven’t contacted customer service yet (it’s Sunday and we just discovered the re - emerged issue).

I’ve had a Fit Bit for 7 years - first the Alta and now the Versa. No issues with either model - maybe it’s just the Ionic that is the issue.

I had similar experience last week.  Screen dark & unable to charge.  The problem was a bad charging cable.  Replaced the cable and Ionic charged completely.  Hope you are lucky with a simple fix

Did not use the watch for three months. Went back to it, will not charge. Tried multiple cables, cleaning the contacts, holding down buttons, nothing works. Bricked.
