Ionic screen popping open. Help

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had to abandon my ionic because the screen popped open earlier this year. I got my watch as a gift from my husband and I've used it for a year. I only picked it up because I decided to get serious with my fitness hence I need to fix this somehow. PLEASE HELP!

I have the same problem. My Ionic will jump from screen to screen on its own randomly and drain my battery. I am now having to charge my Ionic all night and the charge will only last part of the day since it is constantly scrolling through the different screens. I have tried everything, I turned off auto sync and switched back to the generic screen hoping this would help but it didn’t. On top of that the touch screen doesn’t work anymore and I am not able to select a exercise from just touching the screen and it didn’t track my steps at all today even though it was fully charged. Did all the troubleshooting recommended by Fitbit support and did the hard boot too. Fitbit support was not able to help me. Their solution was to give me a coupon to get another Ionic. I am not buying another Fitbit for it to last only 18 months. I am done with Fitbit, this was my  third Fitbit. I didn’t want to believe all the forums that Fitbit are useless after 18 months but I guess it’s true since that is my experience with my Ionic. Bought it Dec 17, 2017. I am looking into Samsung or I Watch.

Thanks @ACLP for responding. This is my second fitbit and definitely my last. I'd rather go with an apple or a samsung watch too. At least, the customer service will be better than what Fitbit offers.

@Jae.Wii physical damage cannot be fixed ( there is no such thing like ghosts and Fitbit repair service, although I'm not sure about the first one 😛 ). If within the warranty, I would contact the customer service and get a replacement ( assuming you still want one ). Physical damage of Ionic will definitely make it non-waterpr....(rewind)...resistant.
