Ionic screen remains black and it will not reset - frustrated

The screen on my ionic is black - it is synched, it buzzes when I hit my goals. I have done absolutely everything suggested - at what point do you say forget it and get a new watch - I will definitely not buy this again.

Hi @Ashbridge, welcome to the Community Forums! Thanks for sharing more details about your Ionic's behavior, as well for the steps that you've tried so far.

 

I understand your frustration and appreciate your feedback. This is an unusual behavior of your device. Before you try any other option, I'd like to suggest restarting your Ionic by holding the left and lower right corner for 10 seconds. If you see the Fitbit logo displayed, release the buttons.

The watch is definitely broken - it synchs to phone and it buzzes when I hit my goal but the screen is black- talked to a CS rep and nothing worked - I haven't had this very long so  very disappointed as it was not cheat - will look into other brands.
