Ionic screen scratched and now it freezes

I got my Ionic in February of this year - I love it, I wear it every day and Im very careful with it. Well this week its been freezing a lot and not swiping and when I looked I noticed one long scratch down the middle- it almost looks like a crack, but I just dont see how that could have happened. Has anyone been able to replace the screen with an outside vendor? This watch was very expensive and I dont want to just give up on it 😞

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @ionicscratch! If your Ionic is freezing, I'd recommend restarting your tracker by following these steps:

  1. Press and hold the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. This should take less than 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If your Ionic doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.

On the other hand, in regards to the scratch. If your tracker was purchased through a retailer, I'd recommend taking it back to the store to see what your options are.

When a tracker suffers damage while under warranty, you can contact Customer Support. Discounts and replacements depend on tracker model and other factors.

If there's something else you'd like me to assist you with, let me know.
