Ionic screen stays black during notifications

My new Ionic will vibrate when a call or message is received on my iPhone but the screen stays black.

Is it possible to have the message or call appear automatically?

I've turned every setting on that I can find for notifications in the iPhone and app.

Thanks.

This has been asked for / mentioned before. At present the Ionic will only light up when you move your wrist, if auto screen wake is on, or if a button is pressed, if set to manual. It is assumed (either incorrectly or correctly depending upon your POV) if you get the buzz, you’ll move your wrist and so the screen light up.

Thanks lostlogik. It was set to auto screen wake so should have been waking with movement or double tap but it wasn't doing that. I can seen in the forums that there is technique involved with moving or double tapping.

So, what works for me is realising that the screen doesn't light up with a notification and learning the right kind of movement to wake the screen once you get a notification.

Cheers
