So I have had the ionic for 3 days and noticed that the screen tap feature Works intermittently. I have tried single tab softly and also with added pressure- Sometimes it works and sometimes the display doesn't respond to any taps atall.
Before I raise this with Fitbit customer support I wanted to find out if there is anything I am doing wrong ?

conductive, no need to tap, lightly touch. Only to wake up needs a double tap (to prevent accidentally turning on the display with gloves, sleeves, etc)
Takes a bit to get used to - enjoy @Haz11, congrats!

touch.
Are you having difficulty waking up the display or choosing a stat from a symbol?
Not knowing which, you might try a hardware reset (hold the left and bottom right buttons down at the same time for about 10-15 secs, your Ionic will vibrate to indicate a restart)
Better or the same?
