Ionic screen went black, won't come on

After charging my Ionic last night, it seems to have turned itself off.  It last synced today at 2:49 PM Eastern Time with a "full battery." 

I have read through several of the topics/questions/responses on this forum, and it appears that this has become a common problem.  

 

I have tried merely turning the watch back on with the back button. 

I've tried charging and then turning it back on.

I've tried holding the back button along with the bottom right button.

I've tried holding all 3 buttons in order to do a factory reset.

I've cleaned the charging connectors.

I've tried restarting (2 button) and resetting (3 button) while plugged in.

 

Nothing has worked.  I've not seen a logo at all. The thing just died.  It was a mother's day gift last year so it's only about 13 months old.  I just bought my husband a Versa after his Charge 2 started having major errors after less than 2 years.  I'm now wondering if I made a big mistake in buying an additional FitBit product, as I see hundreds of these same errors in less then 18 month old watches with only an "I'm sorry, you're out of warranty" response.

Make sure you call fit bit support. There is a charging issue. They will
either replace within warranty or give you a discount on a new one. I was
able to get them to replace it for free out of warranty as a courtesy but
I was only given a 30 day warranty. Try calling and seeing what they’ll
do for you.
