The clock face on my ionic wasn’t being displayed. So I did a reset, and now it just displays the FB logo and the screen just keeps turning on and off. Help!

Best AnswerI'm having this issue also. My Ionic was playing up where it wasn't tracking steps or my heart rate.
I restarted the FitBit Ionic 3 times as was suggested on another post. It then began rebooting randomly throughout the day and is continuing to do so. I factory reset it and removed it from the app but it still does not boot up and stay up in stable state

It was a moderator from FitBit on this site. If you are within 1 year of
purchase/activation you are within coverage, I believe. Unless you
purchased an extended warranty.

Best AnswerThe same has happened to my Ionic. On for hours with only the Fitbit start up on the screen. Can't restart or show clock or anything else.☹😭😭

Best AnswerCharged it all night & the logo is still the only thing showing 🤨
Best AnswerIt is terribly frustrating. The Ionic is one of the higher end FB products, I feel it should be a bit more durable and not have as many bugs. This issue seems to be expanding as well. Hopefully FB will come up with a solution!
Best AnswerThis happened to me today. The only change I did was upgrading it to the new firmware last week, and the battery died 2 days ago.. When I plugged the fitbit ionic back, it started continuously vibrating and showing the Fitbit logo on and off, as if it is continuously rebooting itself. After a couple of hours, the screen went completely black.
Contacted the online support, and did the factory reset as instructed. During the reset process, I could see were a bunch of blue, red and green horizontal lines appear and disapear, and eventually a black screen again..
Best AnswerLooking at all the comments, it looks like the problem affects for Fitbit models purchased 1 year or before.. It might have to do something with the older Fitbit models and the new firmware version..
I was informed that they can't help me because my warrenty got expired..
I purchased my Fitbit Nov of 2019. It's nearly a few months old.
Best AnswerIt sounds though either the firmware has issues on it or there is a bad batch of Ionics that have been released.
If it is a bad batch then Fitbit should be looking to identify the devices by serial number and do a product recall.
For these type of devices to only last a few months (especially given how much they cost) is absurd
