I plugged in my watch to charge because battery showed 9%! After 2-1/2 hours the watch screen is black and appears to be dead! What's up with my investment?

It sounds like your Ionic isn't charging at all, please follow the tips on this article Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
